Job vacancy: Locum Consultant Gastroenterologist, Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust

Exciting opportunities have arisen to join – and help develop – the gastroenterology service at the Royal Free London NHS Trust.
We are looking for applicants who have experience in gastroenterology and endoscopic training to support the provision of service across the trusts three hospital sites, initially as locum posts for six months with a view to subsequent appointment process to a substantive post.

The successful applicants will work within the multidisciplinary outpatient gastroenterology clinics and endoscopy lists at the Royal Free Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital and Barnet Hospital.

This is an exciting time for both the gastroenterology and endoscopy services which are undergoing expansion and development. The successful candidate will be able to help inform what the Gastroenterology service for the Trust should look like in the future.

The successful applicant may form part of the out of hours GI bleeding service and contribute to the provision of an in-patient GI service.

The applicants will be encouraged to contribute to the audit, research as well as under- and post-graduate teaching within the department.
