EUROPEAN COLORECTAL CONGRESS 29th November 2011 - 2nd December 2011 St.Gallen, Switzerland
The main topic this year is:
WHAT’S NEW IN RECTAL CANCER?
At this year’s congress we will deal with the topic „rectum carcinoma“ in detail. We will discuss several different techniques for the treatment of rectal carcinomas.
Additionally we are planning to broadcast interesting live surgery from three operating theatres to the main lecture hall on Tuesday, 29th November 2011
Workshops
Furthermore we have scheduled hands-on-workshops on 28th November 2011. The workshops cover proctological and laparoscopical topics.
Registration
An early bird fee is offered until 21st September 2011. To encourage the participation of young professionals, we continue offering a reduced participation fee for fellows in training.
Poster Award
Again we are looking for the best poster in the field of „Colorectal surgery“. The deadline for abstract submission is 30th September 2011.

As a special educational, CME accredited activity we are organizing the International Congress of Endoscopy (ICE) 2011 in Los Angeles in September this year. Together with nine international and national societies we would like to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Endoscopy as a separate speciality of medicine with you.
ICE 2011 is a one-time event which will bring together the leaders in medical gastrointestinal endoscopy and surgical endoscopy including laparoscopy. The congress provides a high quality program with renowned experts from all over the world who will present and demonstrate the techniques of performing procedures and discuss the wide scope of surgical and medical endoscopic alternatives for management of varied gastrointestinal diseases.
